This technological world

In the case of the Internet, it can not be denied that it is an instrument that, when used well, offers infinite possibilities by allowing you to communicate with the rest of the world. I always look at technological advances with suspicion, because I think that many times they provide us with "comforts" that eventually end up creating an unnecessary dependence, which in the end only enslaves us. But like everything in life, it depends on how you use things.
One of the dangers of the Internet is the fact of falling into communication incommunicado and disinformation based on over-information. On the other hand, I am disturbed by the fact that the Internet is no longer something optional to consult from time to time sitting in front of a screen; now we carry the Internet in our pockets all day ... I think that the irruption of computers and mobile phones in our private lives has overwhelmed us completely, and I do not believe for a moment that we are happier now or that we communicate better what before
All this social phenomenon is a lucrative assembly of technological companies, which have put us the "caramel" of the great advantages of being communicated 24 hours a day as something essential in our lives ... They have designed what they want us to need so that we can not do without it in the future. They are alienating us, and we have done nothing to prevent it. Our society, which is basically superfluous and materialistic, converts luxuries into needs.
Now if you do not have WhatsApp, you are little less than an outlaw and people marginalize you for not being "up to date". The friendship itself does not matter any more. It matters that you are constantly connected to the network through your mobile phone if only to say stupid things ...
What many do not suspect or do not want to see, is that behind that technological invention will come another to replace him. They are already preparing from a marketing advertising office what "we will need" in the future ... This way they keep us for life idolized with the carrot in front of our noses, profiting from our urgent need to communicate as a social and gregarious species that We are by nature.
For my part, I am not a person who needs to be constantly communicated, like the one who has to be assisted by a tube connected with a bottle of serum to survive. I prefer to enjoy what I have in front of me and chat without interrupting anything, something that is already very difficult, because all those who are hooked to the mobile live for him, always more aware of what is far away than what they have in front of him.
Sometimes I think that people must be very empty inside when they feel the obsessive need to communicate at every moment through the Smartphone. This contraption has become an inseparable prosthesis for people. It is pathetic to watch everyone imbued in their phones as if they were eagerly seeking happiness therein.
The parameters that the mobile phone has designed at the beginning of this century seems to me to be a sick symptom of today's society. The phone has idolized people, turning them into puppets of a superfluous device. It really seems like bondage disguised as comfort.
The truth is that people still feel as lonely as before. Real communication has not improved, only virtual communication. Despite Facebook, real friends are still counting on the fingers of one hand.
With computers, you have to know where reality ends and where the virtual begins. We can not channel all our emotions through a screen. The risk of the Internet is that if we do not use it intelligently it can end up by grinding our mind.
Internet apart from the unquestionable advantages as a means of communication, it has become a cybernetic corral where the most important thing is to pretend. People enjoy more by sending a photo of some exotic place for friends to see instead of living that moment for themselves. That attitude seems to be the least worrisome.
The Internet is a space where you can easily make up the reality, creating a virtual scenario in which what is important is what is seen on the screen, not what it really is.
I believe that in the end, we will pay a very high price for this technological world that has overwhelmed our lives. It would be naive to think that the Internet in itself is a personal alternative to choose; rather it is a social imposition promoted from above to have is controlled.

I have learned not to try to convince anyone. The work of convincing is a lack of respect, it is an attempt to colonize the other.
