architects of our reality

When I was very young, I always looked for immediate gratifications because I lacked short-term patients. However, when the years pass and we become more mature, as regards the projection of future and achievement of goals, "the need for immediacy" is not so intense. We are able to wait long periods until our moment arrives.
Sometimes, the anxiety to wait a lot for something brings as a consequence the disappointment that this something is something that we did not expect. They often tell us what to expect is always worth it, that you have to be patient because things always end up coming.
I have learned throughout the time that our life if you want it, will begin to change the moment you stop waiting and adjust your expectations to reality. We must be active agents of our present, creators of new thoughts and emotions that encourage newer actions.
There are many people who make their own existence an eternal anteroom where everything is dreamed but where nothing ever comes. On the other hand, other people experience a very negative feedback before these states of postponement of the reward or that vital objective.
It is clear that we do not all face these waiting situations in the same way: some get desperate and others get comfortable. In this second case, this concept would be what many often define as "a modern evil": this situation has been given a name: "procasting " means that it is the act of systematically postponing those tasks that we should do.
It is a social and psychological phenomenon that does not always have to do with simple laziness, it goes beyond this idea and it is also the habit of delaying or postponing activities or projects waiting for the future to solve them.
The "procrastinator" usually overestimates the time left to perform a task or a project. Think that it is better to wait for the right moment, which of course, is never the "here and now". Keep in mind that procrastination also occurs in those very active people who enjoy developing ideas, but never carry them out because, at the time, they have changed their mind and have another goal in mind.
Things never come by themselves, it is possible that fate brings us luck at a given time, but this is not very frequent. The future does not solve things if we do not propitiate the movement before, the action and the desire for change are in our mind.
Stop waiting and your reality will be different. You live better without expecting anything from anyone and expecting everything from ourselves.
We must learn to stop living in "waiting mode": we must be architects of our reality. Although they "say" that everything comes for those who know how to wait, in reality, living in "waiting mode" can make us fall into a state of frustration and helplessness very desperate. It is very dangerous to postpone things or to wait until the future itself brings us, by itself, our goals, we must be active agents of our reality.
Let's stop focusing our expectations only on tomorrow: with this, I do not mean that we should not take the future into account, but for the future, we dream to be feasible it is necessary to act in the here and now.
Let's stop expecting so many things from others: focusing high expectations on those around us brings us suffering. Let's hope for results of ourselves, take a realistic attitude about what surrounds us and allow ourselves to be receptive instead of demanding with those around us.
There is no perfect life, but there is a state in which we can be happy.
With this idea, once again, the danger of establishing high expectations is summarized. Perfection does not exist, but it does have that wonderful balance in which to be yourself and feel proud of what you have.
Let's train our ability to act and decide without fear. Being protagonists of our history forces us to be active agents of continuous transformations that we must carry out without fear.
Sometimes we spend time dreaming of a future that when it arrives, does not bring us anything new. Then we wait again, to project. Instead of frustrating us, we should be able to initiate change, design a plan, leave the comfort zone, touch the moon with the tips of our fingers whenever possible ...
In short, we should be able to aim high.
Greetings.
